Charity Christmas Single

Dear People,

News from Little Unsaid Land. Against my better judgement, I have gone and made a Christmas song. It is festive in that it's my best attempt at butchering the Christmas song genre; it features a brass band, a choir of children, jingle bells, a few Biblical references, and it's all sprinkled with the usual dose of doom-laden Little Unsaid desperation. You can download it over at our Bandcamp page, and all proceeds go to Shelter, the UK's housing and homelessness charity. Clickety click here to listen and download, and clickety clack here to find out more about Shelter's emergency Christmas appeal to help 90,000 homeless children in the UK find a proper home this festive season.

Next week me and the band go on our small Winter tour of the UK, calling at:

Dec 8th - The Finsbury, London (with string quartet, support from Dear Pariah and Raevennan Husbandes)
Dec 9th - Hare & Hounds, Birmingham (with Inclement Quartet and Big Tent and the Gypsy Lantern)
Dec 10th - Dartington Hall, Totnes (supporting Matthew & Me)

Tickets and more details on these little nuggets of live music joy are all available here.

And on December 17th I'll be doing a solo show in my homeland, at the freshly spruced Bar 122 in Huddersfield, where I cut my teeth playing substandard Foo Fighters covers to my fellow sweaty adolescents. My good friend the fantastic Tobias Jacob will be joining me for this too. It'll be a chance to end the year with a demo performance of some new tunes, a few festive ales, and then we will just play 'Stop the Cavalry' on loop until everyone's drunk or insane. What better way to end the year, friends?

Here's wishing you all a pleasant December,

John x
