Hello friends,

I've just come back to the Unsaid Shed after our mini Winter tour, and wanted to say a massive warm thank you to everyone who has been out to see us play this year; myself and the band are so grateful for your support and we can't wait to get back out making noises again in 2015. Next March I will be getting back onto the beaten track with the full band for our biggest UK tour yet, including some select shows with the full band AND the string quartet. It's going to be LARGE, which is why I'm using capital letters. Here is the full schedule, please pop a date in your diary, UK-dwellers, and come support us on our biggest full band adventure yet...

I'm in the studio at the moment working on new tracks for the next record, so there will be new music to gleefully throw your way when we hit the road next year. In the meantime, here's a reminder that I made a Christmas song (sort of) that you can download here, with all proceeds going to Shelter, the UK's homelessness charity. The song is inspired partly by Dylan Thomas' 'A Child's Christmas in Wales', as well as by a general sense of festive nostalgia, doom, and the idea of addressing one's ever-distant childhood self, as I often do at this time of year between mulled-wine muddled mumbles of festive cheer. A huge thank you to everyone who has downloaded the track so far and helped fund Shelter's truly amazing work to house the 90,000 homeless children in the UK this Christmas.

I'll leave you with this video of us playing 'Frankfurt' live with the full band and string quartet in London last week. Big thanks to DJ Nasty Horse for filming, we are all so excited about getting back together to gig again next year with this large (albeit cramped) lineup!

Take care, have a merry winter season, and see you all in 2015. Be good! (where possible).
