TIM'S TOUR ARCHIVE EPISODE #2

I swear this wasn’t posed in any way; Greystones, Sheffield, 2017, a true David Lynch-ian moment, and I can’t share the story of why.

My compadres John and Alison, enduring a classic Glastonbury piss-down, pre-show. A severe hangover may or may not be involved also.

I kind of live for cheeky little moments like this at The Lexington in London; Watching John perform ‘Betty’s Song’ solo, Mariya just turns and gives me a look of pure joy.

Lexington, 2016: ok, I regret the lousy quality of this hazy shot; but it captures post-show delirium quite well, and a private acknowledgment between John and I.

Mariya lost in concentration/contemplation in The Little Unshed, as she searches for sounds that appeal to her, 2016.

Phoenix grabbed this shot during soundcheck at The Lexington in 2016: John and Alison working with George Hoult and Molly Cockburn on string arrangements. Drummer out of his depth looks on and is thinking about food.

John played on and produced the glorious ‘Polyphonic Life’ album by Tobias Ben Jacob in 2016.

On the Harwich-Hoek ferry to Netherlands/Germany dates in 2016.

I’ve got pretty crafty at capturing John when he steals a private moment to write, as here in Berlin, 2016.

Leaving Shöneberg, Berlin, 2016.

Dressing room desperation, Brighton. Things had not gone well. I have to judge these moments carefully, as I’m obviously intruding. But they’re used to me now :)

Our man Phoenix, genius photographer and filmmaker, deep in thought as he preps a Highgate cemetery video shoot.
